In this guide, we will walk you through getting started with Intentable's trading platform step by step, ensuring that you are ready to take full advantage of its unique DeFi trading capabilities.
Before you start using Intentable, make sure you have a compatible wallet set up. Intentable currently supports popular Web3 wallets such as MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and Coinbase Wallet.
Download and Install: If you haven't already, download and install your preferred wallet extension on your browser or app on your mobile device.
Create a Wallet: Follow the prompts to create a new wallet. Be sure to safely store your seed phrase, as it is essential for accessing your wallet.
Add Funds: Deposit funds into your wallet by buying crypto or transferring tokens from another source.
Step 2: Connect Your Wallet to Intentable
Once your wallet is set up, follow these steps to connect it to Intentable:
Click "Connect Wallet": On the top right corner of the page, you will see a "Connect Wallet" button. Click it.
Select Your Wallet: Choose your wallet provider (e.g., MetaMask, Trust Wallet).
Approve Connection: Your wallet will prompt you to approve the connection to Intentable. Click "Approve" or "Connect."
Step 3: Creating an Account
To start using Intentable effectively, you need to create a Runner.
Runner: Intentable uses Runners to simplify user interactions with blockchain transactions. This allows for a smoother trading experience by bundling multiple actions into one simplified transaction flow.
Create Your Runner: Once your wallet is connected, you can create your Runner:
1. Click “My Wallets”: Can be found in the left menu
2. Click “Create Runner”:
3. Confirm in your wallet: That's a one-time step you need to do in order to open your new Runner.
Step 4: Set Your Gas Station
The Gas Station is an essential feature of Intentable that ensures smooth and uninterrupted transactions by pre-funding gas fees.
Why Load the Gas Station?: Preloading your Gas Station ensures that you have sufficient funds to cover gas fees, preventing your trades from failing due to insufficient gas.

How to Load the Gas Station:
1. Go to the "Gas Station" tab on your dashboard.
2. Specify the amount you'd like to add, and approve the transaction to load funds for future gas fees.
