03 / Buying Filtered Tokens with MEV Protection

In this guide, you'll learn how to purchase filtered tokens and using Intentable's MEV Protection feature to ensure your trades are shielded from front-running bots.

Step 1: Choose the Pair Group

Start by selecting the group of token pairs you want to trade from:

• Hot Pairs: Tokens currently trending with high trading volumes.

• Top Pairs: Established tokens with good liquidity and performance.

• New Pairs: Recently launched tokens that may offer early opportunities.

Navigate through the platform and choose the group that best suits your trading strategy.

Step 2: Filter Tokens

To ensure that you only see tokens that have passed Intentable's safety checks:

1. Click on the "Filter Tokens" button to activate the filter mechanism.

2. Tokens that pass Intentable's advanced safety checks will be displayed in the filtered list, (Note that tokens may not appear at all in given moments).

Step 3: Select a Token

Once you have filtered the tokens:

1. Choose the token you want to buy from the filtered list.

2. *Tip: use the social sentiment indicator to optimize your token choice.

3. Click on the token to proceed.

Step 4: Buy at Market Price

After selecting the token, a pop-up window will appear:

1. Click "Buy at Market Price" located at the top left of the pop-up.

Step 5: Set the Amount

Enter the amount of wETH you wish to use to buy the selected token:

1. Specify the amount of WETH you want to spend.

2. The platform will calculate the estimated amount of tokens you will receive.

Step 6: Confirm the Transaction

To complete your purchase:

1. Confirm the transaction in your connected wallet.

2. Approve the request and wait for the transaction to be processed.

Once confirmed, you'll successfully own the filtered token with the added benefit of MEV Protection to keep your trade secure from front-running attacks.
